Arrived at the Peronti hotel in Hopa

My Location@19:09,7/12 Eski Hopa Artvin Yolu, 08600 Hopa/Artvin Province, Turkey http://m.google.com/u/m/zEHTdP

An acceptable place to stay with a friendly cook. Great view to the sea from the top floor restaurant.

Tea fields on the way from Borçka to Hopa

On the way from Borçka to Hopa towards the black sea, we are passing more and more impressive tea fields:

Muratlı downtown

From Borçka, we drove a few kilometers north to the border town Muratlı, where the Coruh river enters Georgia.

Muratlı is an idyllic border village but the breathtaking wooden mosque from the 19th century justifies the venture into here!

Roadside snack

This delicious snack is called "Mıhlama" (Corn, butter and cheese), prepared for us with cheese bread in this cosy oven of that roadside restaurant!

Karagöl walk

Yet another beautiful "black lake"!

Mountain pass at 1759 m

Driving the impressive mountain pass again on the way to Borçka ...

Visiting mosque of Ürünlü

The position on the map (near Camili) is still missing, but a beautiful sight to visit ...
